Enterprise Architect (EA)

EA Orphan Elements

So while you are creating models in EA some of the elements might be removed from the diagrams but the actual Elements themselves will stay behind in the package (folders) and never be allocated or represented in any diagrams.

These Elements might not even have any relationships to any other elements.

In these cases we refer to these poor lonely elements that are just taking up space in our packages Orphans.

They are not in any diagram. It is good practice to clean up your orphans over time. As these can start polluting your EA Models and take up unnecesary space in your Models.

In the below video i explain how you can find these orphan elements in EA.

This will definitely help ! once you find them Delete them!
