EA Element Creation Methods
Some tips and tricks i’ve learned when creating elements that are not so obvious when you start modelling in Sparx Systems Enterprise architect. This will definitively end up saving you countless hours of effort. We will be starting with the various options you have for adding Elements in EA.
Add Element Using Toolbox
So this is the conventional missionary position way of adding Elements to a model. And this is simply by using the toolbox.
Quick Add Elements
This is the short cut way of adding elements into a diagram with a magical click of a button and a pop up box you’ll be adding elements in bulk.
Import Elements from ClipBoard
So you’re in a hurry and you have a massive bulk of elements to create in EA. You can directly created these elements from the clipboard using a handy little pop up box.
Import Elements from CSV
So you have a csv file with all the elements you need to create in EA. You dont want to go through the hassle of the other methods you can simply use the import CSV functionality to import the Elements via csv.
